Iguana nesting beach at low tide. Tide was abnormally low due to the spring tide
Interesting cactus trees that lined the trail for most of the hike
Lookout point from end of hiking trail next to Las Greitas
Boat ride from Santa Cruz to Isabela
Everyone on the boat was taking a quality nap so I had to capture the moment
Our hotel was planning to make an addition. You can see in terms of infrastructural technology the island is much further behind than mainland Ecuador or the United States

Las Greitas (the place we went swimming the day before), we were hiking a trail that ran right next to it.
I should have been more stealth, could have gotten a better look at this little guy.
Mangroves at Iguana nesting beach at low tide
Amazing views along the way
First sights of development in Isabella. Overall this island was much more environmentally intact and far behind Santa Cruz in terms of development.
Arriving to the man made lagoon in which the flamingos inhabit due to the shrimp presence. However recently there are not as many flamingos present due decreasing shrimp populations resulting from lower levels of oxygen in the water

Paola educating us about the flamingos in the lagoon
The bike ride back through town from the lagoon that the Flamingos were in
Sea lion having a nice little snack!
